FZN Girls Basketball

The Girls Basketball team heads into the final game of the regular season playing some of their best basketball. The team recently completed a six game stretch that saw the Lady Panthers complete a 3 - 3 record. The girls scored victories over Silex, Francis Howell North, and Holt. They were competitive in close losses to Fort Zumwalt South and Ritenour.

The team has received strong play from Seniors - Kylie Jones (8.3 ppg) and Abby Haler (11.4 ppg, 8.3 rbs). Freshmen sensation, Rachel Pudlowski, has retuned for a midseason injury to once again pace the Panthers in scoring with 11.4 points per game.

This Friday night (2/28) the girls will play their final regular season contest at home against conference rival - Holt. Seniors - Nicole Blackburn, Abby Haler, Kylie Jones, and Morgan Heard will suit up at the North Fort for the final time of their career. Friday night's game is the annual FZN "Paint it Pink" contest. A night the hopes to raise funds and awareness for cancer research. A 5:30 pm tip-off is scheduled.
