FZN Wrestling

The FZN Wrestling team opened the season with a bang as they secured victories in each of their first two dual meets of the 2013 - 2014 season. The grapplers defeated Parkway West 78 - 6 and Rockwood Summit 44 - 33 in the double dual held last Tuesday (12/3/14).
Last Saturday the wrestlers placed 10 of 14 wrestlers in the top three of their respective weight classes to capture the team title in the "Green" Pool of the FZN Invitational. Individual medalists include - Garret Vancil (3rd - 106 lbs.), Shaun Beeman (1st - 113 lbs.), Jacob Byers (2nd - 126 lbs.), Austin Graeler (2nd - 132 lbs.), Sam Smith (2nd - 152 lbs.), Derek Schwartz (3rd - 170 lbs.), Levi Kessels (3rd - 182 lbs.), Alex Gowen (2nd - 195 lbs.), Mason Seeger (3rd - 220 lbs.), and Josh Stockton (3rd - 285 lbs.).

Returning state medalist Shaun Beeman is currently 8 - 0 with 8 pins on the season!

This Wednesday (12/11/13) the Panthers play host Fort Zumwalt South in a GAC Central Dual. Action begins at 6:00 pm.
