5/12 Weekly Weather Summary and Outlook
Weekly Weather Blog, summarizing our past week's weather and looking forward into the next week.
First off, I hope all Mothers had a good Mother’s Day; the weather was beautiful with a high of 61° after a cool start of 40°.
Our week went as planned with a high of 82° and a low of 44; we received .98 inches of rain this past week.
The upcoming week brings a big warm-up with high temperatures Tuesday approaching 90°, first we have to get through Monday morning that could bring scattered frost to some areas around St. Louis, the low for Monday morning looks to be in the mid-upper 30’s. The remaining of the week should be in the 80’s for highs and the mornings should range in the 55°-65° range. Chances for rain come back on Wednesday and continue through Friday.

After Friday I start 2 weeks of vacation, this is dedicated to storm chasing each year as weather allows. As storms move across the Great Plains I will be on the road tracking them, while chasing I have a live video stream available so followers can see exactly what I am seeing. Typically each night or the next morning I upload images and higher quality video to Facebook and YouTube.
