April 7 Weekly Weather Summary and Outlook

Weekly weather summary and outlook, our week may include some severe weather, please be prepared.

This week brought what I hope is our true transition to Spring weather with a large temperature swing, we had a low of 27° on Tuesday morning and a high of 74° on Saturday. Had to take a second look at this one, no rain was recorded this week.

Our outlook looks wet through midweek; scattered storms are forecast today through Wednesday, with Sunday night and Tuesday night into Wednesday being the main focus at this time. Severe weather is possible this week, with the main focus being Tuesday into Wednesday. Severe weather can't be ruled out with any storms until then, so please stay in touch with your favorite local media source.

Temperatures will be mild early in the week with a small cool down for the end of the week.

As always, stay safe and be prepared, take the proper action if a severe weather warning is issued.

Our storm chase season looks to be ramping up, although many groups are already headed to Kansas and Oklahoma for the early week storm, we are staying home. If we chase it will be Tuesday, although it could be an overnight event locally.
