3 Volunteer Opportunities in St. Charles County

Patch compiles several ways to give back to your community this summer.

Community Commons Concierge

Be the first point of contact for the Community Council. The Community Commons Concierge will be an ambassador for the Community Council and the Library District. The concierge will be responsible for the booking and preparation of the meeting rooms in the Community Commons, which is located within Spencer Library Branch. Volunteers are needed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday. To volunteer, contact ccvolunteer@communitycouncilstc.org or call 636-978-2277.

Help With Summer Book Fair

The Friends of the Library summer book fair runs Aug. 3-5. Volunteers are needed to help with set up and more. To volunteer, contact Lisa Dunham at 636-441-2300 or friends@stchlibrary.org.

Help St. Peters Parks Department with Projects

The Parks Department regularly seeks help with minor grounds maintenance and park cleanup projects. The Parks Department is also seeking help with painting at the new 370 Lakeside Park. To sign up call 636-279-8207.

Does your group need volunteers? Email editor Kalen Ponche at kalen.ponche@patch.com to have your event included in next week's round up.
