The Middendorf-Kredell branch of the St. Charles City-County Library opened their Highway K location in 1995. The library offers nearly 190,000 books, movies, CDs and reference materials along with free WiFi and weekly programs for children, teens and adults. Through a partnership with Barnes Jewish St. Peters Hospital, the library also offers Healthy Answer Place, a wide variety of media made available for patrons to find more information on health and nutrition.
