No surprise here, just glad I have Christ in my heart and am saved and ready for that trumpet blowRead More coming any day! We were warned of this behavior in the Bible and many have chose to laugh and scoff. but just like Sodom and Gomorrah, we will have to witness the sad outcome of that behavior. If you are not baptized you better be soon and get yourself right with God or you are in serious trouble!

O' Fallonite's: This first "Food Truck Frenzy" was an awesome success! It was a greatRead More evening of gathering of our GREAT Community! There were around 2,000 People to enjoy the environment, the Great Fort Zumwalt Park, good eats and a band. There were seven (7) Food Trucks in attendance offering their menus to the public. Two (2) of the Food Trucks had to leave the Park, go to the grocery store and pickup additional food and supplies and then return to the Park to fill orders. My hats off to the organization of Marsha Seymour, the City Events and Tourism Manager. My only comment would be to invite more trucks and have a wider-variety of food at the next event. It was a HUGE success!!! AC Dienoff-Community and Public Advocate

Want a series that will make you smile? Try the "Chet and Bernie" series by Spencer Quinn.Read More The first book in the series is "Dog On It". If you're a dog lover or a mystery lover you'll enjoy these breezy books about Bernie, a hapless detective, and his dog, Chet. The books are told through Chet's eyes; he adores his human friend, Bernie and thinks he's the smartest detective on the planet. Together, they solve crimes that are interesting and full of clever twists. The dialog will delight you and the bond between Chet "The Jet" and Bernie gives each book a warm perspective. Can Bernie solve the crime? He can as long as Chet is there to help him decode the clues. There are six books in the series. The newest, "A Fistful of Collars",came out last September. You don't HAVE to read them in order, but you'll enjoy them more if you do, to see how Chet and Bernie's world is populated and how their bond grows.

One of my favorite authors for adult readers is Maeve Binchy. Her novels of women's lives inRead More Ireland, with her depictions of relationships and Irish village life, would be perfect summer reads.
