I dont know how I feel about this. I dont condone doing drugs and this guy obviously committed aRead More crime. but the fact the police allowed a homeless person remain on the streets for almost a month knowing that he was homeless and selling drugs to others kinda bothers me. Maybe when they found out he was homeless he should have been offered a place to stay at a detox location. It would have got him off the street and drugs our of others hands. just sad that they decided to rack up charges against him when they could have stopped it sooner.

Most likely they were building a case and trying to see where he was getting the drugs?

I can't believe what I'm hearing in this comments section. I lost my 18 year old son to suicide atRead More his college campus 3 years ago, and on that "news story", which I DID READ, the comments were atrocious, just as they are here. I can assure you, for the family this is a shocking and devastating tragedy they will live with FOREVER!! For any of you to sit here "discussing" details like it's the weather is the utmost in disrespect to this young, broken soul as well as his family. Please let him rest in peace now. I find the fact that this is even an article on the Patch, very disappointing. Many newspapers, MOST, do not do stories on suicide deaths out of respect for the deceased and their family and friends. Shame on you Patch for even having this article online..... Thank you!

Joyce, generally, we don't cover suicides. But there is a line that is crossed when the suicideRead More involves a public figure or occurs in a public place. Often, the news first comes out as a death, with few other details. When more information is made available, it's our responsibility to report it.

Tamara, it is also your responsibility to be ethical.

Of course people should not hurt others, or animals for that matter, but how did his nationalityRead More come up? And Bosnian from the name Heisler? There are plenty of plain country-loving white guys that beat their wives.

Dodi because there has been an influx of some pretty mean Muslims in our area, that's why.
Dodi November 13, 2013 at 09:48 am
