Donald Rentsch, 27, of Wright City, was charged last week in the March incident involving a 13-year-old.
A Wright City man was charged last week in a statutory rape case in O'Fallon. O'Fallon Police reported that they received the call on March 1 saying that a 13-year-old female on Eastbook Lane was being touched by an adult. Donald Rentsch, 27, of Wright City, was charged with two counts of first-degree statutory rape (sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years old), and four counts of first degree statutory sodomy (deviate sexual intercouse with a person less than 14 years old). Rentsch is being held on $250,000 bond and is in custody at the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department.

Alex Michael Stigall, 18, of St. Peters, and Jermel Ramonte Higgins, 18, of St. Charles, were arrested after police say the stole medication from a victim's hand as she was leaving an O'Fallon store.
Two teens were arrested by O'Fallon Police for stealing medication from a person at in the 1300 block of Highway K. According to a release from the O'Fallon Police Department, Alex Michael Stigall, 18, of St. Peters, and Jermel Ramonte Higgins, 18, of St. Charles, were arrested after police say the stole medication from a victim's hand just before 5 p.m. on May 8. Police said the two teens sat in the store listening to customers fill prescriptions so they could steal medication. Police said the two teens followed the victim out of the store and one of the subjects ripped the medication from her hand and ran toward a car. At her tender age the girl may believe she gave her consent but when she gets older and realizes she was grievously violated and exploited anger will set in. Harsh punishment for the perpetrator by the criminal justice system will make it easier for the girl to forgive her attacker from her heart.
