Teen Leads Police On High-Speed Chase Until Tire Falls Off on Highway K

STLtoday reports 17-year-old Arthur A. Sauer III, of Troy, is charged with three felonies.

A 17-year-old Troy man is charged with three felonies and three misdemenors after leading police on a high-speed chase down Highway 79 near O'Fallon on Monday, according to STLtoday.com.  The article states that police saw Arthur A. Sauer III, 17, Troy, driving 103 miles per-hour on southbound Highway 79 and when they attempted to pull him over he sped up to 112. STLtoday reports Sauer attempted to turn onto T.R. Hughes Boulevard in O'Fallon, but missed the turn, ran over road signs and hit a median, yet still continued driving until eventually one of his rear tires fell off on Highway K.  Click here to read the rest of the story on STLtoday.com.

Woman Attacked CentrePointe Staff Member, Broke Her Collarbone, Deputy Says

A Sheriff's Deputy reported the woman yelled she would return and shoot staff members at the treatment facility.

A woman being treated at CentrePointe Hospital attacked a staff member Dec. 22, jumping on her and breaking her collarbone. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said the woman jumped on the staff member, pulling her hair and yelled, “I’m going to kill you, (expletive).” Patsha Ramsey, 18, of the 1600 block of Olive Street in the City of St. Louis, was charged Wednesday with second-degree assault. The deputy said Ramsey wrapped her legs around the staff member’s upper body and it took several other hospital employees several minutes to get her off the staff member. Multiple witnesses told the deputy Ramsey threatened to return to CentrePointe and shoot all the staff. According to the report, Ramsey’s doctor said she is not psychotic, is …

Police: O'Fallon Man Charged With Assault After Allegedly Choking, Striking Woman in Face

The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued second degree assault charges on James Gasperoni, 21, O’Fallon.

An O'Fallon man is charged with assault after police say he allegedly hit and choked a woman on Tuesday.  The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued second degree assault charges on James Gasperoni, 21, O’Fallon.  According to O'Fallon Police, officers responded to a call in the 1300 block of Manuka Dr. at 1:50 a.m. on Tuesday. Police say during the assault, a 29-year-old woman was choked and repeatedly struck in the face. The victim was transported to the hospital for non life threatening injuries. The victim and the Gasperoni knew each other, according to police.  Gasperoni is being held on a $25,000 dollar bond.

Police: Woman Charged With Three O'Fallon Burglaries

O’Fallon Police investigated three separate burglaries, which occurred while the garage doors were open and the resident was performing yard work in the back yard.

A Lake Saint Louis woman is charged with three counts of burglary after police say she stole from three different homes.  O’Fallon Police investigated three separate burglaries, which occurred while the garage doors were open and residents were in the back doing yard work during the day.  The St. Charles County Prosecutor's Office charged Jaqueline Anderson, 45,  Lake St Louis, with three counts of Burglary 1st, three counts of Theft/Stealing (Value Of Property Or Services Is Less Than $500) and one count of Theft/Stealing Of Any Credit Card Or Letter Of Credit. She is being held with a $30,000 dollar bond. O'Fallon Police Chief of Police Roy Joachimstaler cautions residents about leaving their doors open or unlocked.   “Although it is …

Superintendent Says Zumwalt West 7th Grade Teacher Didn't Share Student Shower Videos

In June, Matt Hansen, 38, of Lincoln County, was found in possession of child porn on his home computer. According to Superintendent Dr. Bernard DuBray, police say Hansen did not share the videos he took of campers in the shower.

A Fort Zumwalt West Middle School teacher who was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography earlier this month, also allegedly taped students undressing while away at camp.  Matt Hansen, 38, taught seventh grade math in the district since 2004, and was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the police investigation. According to a letter from Fort Zumwalt Superintendent Bernard DuBray posted on the district's website in June, Hansen also assisted with the district's Fifth Grade Outdoor Education Program. "Since his arrest, the Cyber Crimes Unit found evidence that Mr. Hansen secretly and inappropriately videotaped some students at the Outdoor Education Program," DuBray wrote, adding that he had not personally…

O'Fallon Man Had 'Deviant Sexual Intercourse' With a 10-Year-Old, Police Say

The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on Cody L. Bonecutter, 18, O’Fallon, for molesting a 10-year-old.

An O'Fallon man is charged with statutory sodomy, after police say he engaged in "deviant sexual intercourse" with a 10-year-old victim. O'Fallon Police responded to a call of child molestation on at 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7. According to police, the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on Cody L. Bonecutter, 18, O’Fallon. Bonecutter is charged with six counts of statutory sodomy, with a $100,000 dollar bond. The incidents occurred between July 13, 2012 and Aug. 3, 2012. The O’Fallon Police Department is requesting if there are other victims, they contact Detective Luke Smyka, at 636-379-5664.
