O'Fallon Man Indicted On Seven Counts of Sexual Assault

Seven women report that Lawrence Branam, owner of the Cosmetic Laser Center in St. Peters, touched them sexually during hair removal treatments.

The owner of the Cosmetic Laser Center in St. Peters was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury Friday on seven counts of deviate sexual assault. Lawrence Branan, 48, of the 1400 block of Norwood Hills Drive in O’Fallon, owned the Cosmetic Laser Center at 7030 Mexico Road and was a licensed laser hair removal technician. Branam was arrested June 20 after St. Peters Police received a report that he had inappropriately touched a female client during hair removal treatments. The client told people she had gone in for laser hair removal and Branam had touched her in areas which were not treated as part of the laser hair removal process. Teen Indicted on Sexual Misconduct, Burglary Charges

O'Fallon Police said the young man groped a woman and a 14-year-old girl through windows as they slept in two separate incidents.

A teen was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury Sept. 14 on two first-degree burglary charges and one count each of first-degree sexual misconduct and attempted deviate sexual assault. O’Fallon Police said Austin L. Mosley, 17, of the 400 block of Fire Tree Lane in St. Charles County near O'Fallon, reached inside windows two separate occasions and groped a woman and a 14-year-old girl. The first incident was May 6; the second was July 27. The woman and the girl were sleeping at the time, police said. According to police reports, Mosley told police he was extremely drunk during both incidents. The burglary charges are class B felonies; the deviate sexual assault is a class D felony, and the sexual misconduct charge is a class D …
