O'Fallon Eagle Scout Honored By City Council

A local student was recognized as a future leader by the O'Fallon City Council on Thursday, Jan. 10. Jonathan Hoyt Bostic recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout, which requires scouts to earn 21 merit badges, complete a community service project and approval from the Eagle Board Chairman, St. Louis and National Council. The O'Fallon City Council and Mayor Bill Hennessy presented Bostic with a proclamation describing the honor as, "a symbol of patriotism and challenge of the highest magnitude."
