Free Pancakes for National Pancake Day at IHOPs in St. Charles County

Find out where to get your free short stack around the St. Louis-area.

You may want to betray your regular breakfast spot on National Pancake Day this Feb. 5. That's because IHOP is offering customers a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes. In return for the free pancakes this year, guests will be asked to consider leaving a donation for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (or other designated charities). Since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP has raised more than $10 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates. IHOP Offers Free Short Stack to Honor National Pancake Day

IHOP will give every person in America free pancakes to celebrate National Pancake Day.

Today is National Pancake Day and to celebrate, the International House of Pancakes is offering every person in America a free short stack of its signature buttermilk pancakes for free. The popular breakfast restaurant has celebrated National Pancake Day since 2006 and has raised nearly $8 million to support charities in the communities that it operates in. The pancakes are technically free, however IHOP goers are asked to consider leaving a donation for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other designated local charities, IHOP's website says. First Watch in St. Peters won our first Chowdown Showdown.

  We have a winner! First Watch in St. Peters captured the St. Charles County Patch Chowdown Showdown Pancake title hands down this week.   Patch readers had great things to say about all of our top five winners. For our first St. Charles County Patch Chowdown Showdown, we asked readers where they find the best pancakes in the county.
