5 Injured in Car Accident at Highway K, Waterford Crossing on Monday Morning

O'Fallon Police said all five subjects were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Five people were injured in a car accident at Highway K and Waterford on Monday morning. O'Fallon Police said they received a call at 7:14 a.m. and four cars were involved.   According to police, five people were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. Highway K was shut down for a few hours, causing traffic delayed school buses entering Fort Zumwalt West Middle School.  According to the O'Fallon Police Department Facebook page, some residents said traffic was backed up all the way to Dardenne Prairie.

St. Peters Man Seriously Injured in Wreck on I-70 at Bryan Road

Robert Staufenbiel was in his semi-truck on I-70 when a utility truck, salting the highway, failed to notice the stopped semi and hit the towed unit of the truck. Staufenbiel was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

A 51-year-old St. Peters man was seriously injured in a car accident along Interstate 70 Monday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol website, Robert Staufenbiel in his 2002 International 4900 semi-truck on I-70, near the Bryan Road exit in O'Fallon, when a utility truck salting the highway failed to notice the stopped semi and hit the towed unit of the semi. Staufenbiel was taken to St. Joseph East Hospital by St. Charles County ambulance.  Both vehicles sustained extensive damage.

O'Fallon Woman Injured in Two-Car Crash on Highway K Monday

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred near Highway 40.

An O'Fallon woman was injured in a two-car crash on Highway K at Highway 40 on Monday, Oct. 22.  According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Amy Caldwell, 21, O'Fallon, was driving northbound on Highway K at 2:53 p.m. When Caldwell stopped her 2008 Toyota Yaris for traffic, she was rear-ended by a 1999 Lexus Es 300 driven by Michael Friedman, 44, Fenton. The report states both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Caldwell suffered minor injuries and was transported to St. Joseph Hospital West by St. Charles County Ambulance.

Update: O'Fallon Man Injured in Fatal Crash On Monday

One driver has died after a head-on collision in a multi-car crash early Monday in St. Peters.

St. Peters Police have released the name of the man killed in a head-on collision early Monday morning. Jeffrey Conway, 27, of Florissant, was killed when his 2004 Monte Carlo crashed on Salt River Road on Monday. Conway was taken by ambulance to Barnes-Jewish St. Peters where he was pronounced dead. Police also released the names of the other drivers involved in the crash. Carol Motley, of Winfield, was the driver of the Chevy Trailblazer that was first struck in the crash. She sustained minor injuries and was released from the hospital. Gregory Tucker, of O'Fallon, was the driver of a GMC Sonoma in the crash. O'Fallon Driver Transported to Hospital After Striking Median Several Times

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jeremy Witt, 19, O'Fallon suffered moderate injuries in an accident on westbound I-70 on Saturday.

An O'Fallon man suffered injuries in a car accident on westbound I-70 on Saturday, Aug. 25. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jeremy Witt, 19, O'Fallon, traveled westbound in a 1984 Ford Escort when he traveled off the roadway at 5:13 a.m. The report states that Witt's car struck the median several times. The car was totaled and St. Charles County Ambulance transported Witt to St. Joseph's Hospital West with moderate injuries.

O'Fallon Man Injured After Car Overturned On Highway P

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Matthew Grzybinski, 18, of O'Fallon, suffered minor injuries in a car crash early Saturday.

An 18-year-old O'Fallon man was injured on Saturday morning after his car overturned and traveled off of Highway P a half mile east of Guthrie Road.  According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Matthew Grzybinski, 18, of O'Fallon, was traveling eastbound on Highway P around 4:28 a.m., when his 1999 Chevrolet Blazer traveled off to the right side of the road.  The report states, Grzybinski attempted to correct to the left, when his right tires traveled off the roadway. The car overturned and traveled off the left side of the road.  Grzybinski was transported to St. Joseph Hospital West with moderate injuries.

O'Fallon Man Injured in Iowa Car Collision

Charles W. Haffter Jr., 44, of St. Peters, is one of two men who died after being involved in a two-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning.

Two Missouri residents are dead and one man from O'Fallon is injured, following a crash in Iowa early Tuesday morning.  Charles W. Haffter Jr., 44, of St. Peters, and 47-year-old St. Louis resident Tony R. Penberthy died after being involved in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi truck just after 1 a.m. on Highway 63 in Iowa.  According to the Iowa State Patrol report, a semi truck driven by 58-year-old Auburndale, FL, resident Steven W. Searls, rear-ended a vehicle driving in the same lane at a speed slower than the posted speed limit. The second car, a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire, was driven Robert Lindsey, 50, of O'Fallon.  Lindsey was injured in the crash and taken to Ottumwa Regional Hospital. O'Fallon Woman Injured in Crash on Route N

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a passenger was injured over the weekend when the driver struck a car stopped in the middle of the road.

An O'Fallon woman was injured in a two-car crash on Sunday, Aug. 5. Jenifer Otalora, 21, of O'Fallon, parked her 1999 Ford Contour on westbound Route N, near Interstate 64 around 4:25 a.m. on Sunday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she had her hazard lights on due to running out of gas. The report states that Ronald Hesselrode, 64, of O'Fallon, driving his 2006 Chevrolet Aveo westbound, was unable to see Otalora's car and struck the right rear of the vehicle before hitting the median. Otalora and Hesselrode were uninjured. Passenger Kriste Hesselrode, 60, of O'Fallon was transported to  by St. Charles County Ambulance to St. Joseph West Hospital. The report did not state how serious Hesselrode's injuries were.

O'Fallon Man Involved in Crash on Highway 370

Jeffrey Switzer, of St. Peters sustained moderate injuries in the crash.

A 31-year-old St. Peters man sustained moderate injuries after being in a two-car crash on Wednesday.  Jeffrey L. Switzer was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital by St. Charles County Ambulance after being involved in a crash on Highway 370 near Elm Street in St. Charles County.  According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ramadan W. Ramadan, 34, of O'Fallon, was driving westbound on Highway 370 around 3:40 p.m. on Aug. 1. Ramadan attempted to change lanes in his 2012 Infinity QX56. In the process, Ramadan's vehicle struck Switzer's 2006 Yamaha Virago. The collision caused Switzer to lose control of motorcycle and crash. Ramadan was uninjured in the crash and his vehicle was undamaged.  Switzer's motorcycle sustained …

O'Fallon Woman Injured in Sunday's Fatal Crash in Chesterfield

An early Sunday crash involves a Greyhound bus and second passenger car.

An O'Fallon woman is injured after a crash involving a Greyhound Bus and another car in Chesterfield on Sunday.  According to Chesterfield Patch, Mary Radcliffe, 57, of O'Fallon,  suffered serious injuries when a car struck her head-on, driving the wrong direction on Highway 40/64.  Chesterfield police say Nicholas J. Watson, 18, of St. Peters, is dead after he drove his car east into Chesterfield Valley from St. Charles on the wrong side of Highway 40/64, sideswiped a Greyhound Bus and then struck Radcliffe.  Chesterfield Patch reports the crash was at 3:30 a.m. Sunday. The highway was closed for four hours afterward, police said.
