LOOK! Shops opens for business on Wednesday, Aug. 1. The unique new shop, located at 991 Waterbury Falls Dr., began construction in May. Co-owners Kathy Machisen and Rebecca Riegerix describe the shop as a new concept for retail. They rent smaller spaces, including shelves and large cubbies for other businesses and entrepreneurs to set up shop and sell their products. The shop is designed to sell merchandise from new start-ups, expanding, downsizing or online businesses. It also serves as a place to test new products and help the “mini-preneuer” get started. If you've driven down Highway K in the last week, you've probably noticed the colorful new sign hanging at at 991 Waterbury Falls Dr. Construction began on the former home of Glass of Laughs in May, and Look! Shops LLC, a new unique shop will open this summer. Co-owners Kathy Machisen and Rebecca Riegerix previously talked with O'Fallon Patch, and described the shop as a new concept for retail. The owners will rent smaller spaces, including shelves and large cubbies for other businesses and entrepreneurs to set up shop and sell their products.
