Michael L. Rone was arrested on Saturday after admitting to police that he strangled his wife Stacey Rone.
An O'Fallon man is charged with first degree murder after his wife was found strangled to death. Relatives found Stacey Rone, 38, dead inside her house on the 1100 block of St. Matthew Ave on Thursday. According to O'Fallon Police, Michael L. Rone, 42, admitted to strangling Stacey during an argument. Rone was arrested on Saturday afternoon. His bond is set at $250,000.
The "St. Louis Post-Dispatch" reports that Cory Brooks, 22, was sentenced on Monday for the murder of Brandon Joyce, 26.
An O'Fallon man was sentenced to 30-years in prison for the murder of a man on Christmas Eve in 2010, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
