Welcome to O'Fallon Patch's "12 Days of Christmas," where each weekday from Dec. 4-21, we'll feature gift ideas and deals from local stores to help you complete your holiday shopping. Today's 12th and final day of gift ideas comes from Rendezvous Cafe & Wine Bar, located at 217 S Main St., O'Fallon. In addition to gourmet coffee and boutique wines, Rendezvous Cafe offers breakfast items, soups, salads, sandwiches, tapas and desserts. The cafe is WiFi accessible, has an outdoor patio and meeting space available for corporate meetings or private events. There is a full bar and mini micro-brew beer. Today's gift ideas come from O'Fallon's Main Street Marketplace, located at 220 South Main St. The shop offers customers anything from jewelry, clocks and refurbished furniture to doll clothes, decorative antique phones and sewing machines. Owners Pete and Sandy Gowran and vendor Terri Burgess shared some of their favorite, unique items that would make great gifts this holiday season. "There's something here for everyone," Burgess said. The consignment shop will be located at 220 South Main St.
A local couple is planning to open a resale shop on Main Street in early July. O'Fallon Main Street Marketplace will be located at 220 South Main St., next to O'Fallon Printing. Peter Gowran co-owns the shop with his wife Sandra, both of Defiance, MO. Gowran said the family-owned consignment business will sell home decor, antiques and accessories. The couple is hoping they are ready to open between July 1-4. O'Fallon Patch will keep you updated with more information as it becomes available.

I love the antique furniture and knick-knacks! There was a really nice desk in the window for awhile that I wanted, but I don't have room right now. Main Street Market Place will be a good place to start Christmas shopping this season. more ›
