O'Fallon Man Charged With Burglarizing Vacant Homes
Joshua Middleton is charged with 27 counts of Burglary 2nd degree and one count of a Theft/Stealing of over 500 dollars.
An O'Fallon man is charged with burglarizing several vacant local homes. Earlier in January, the O’Fallon Police Department requested the public's help in keeping an eye out for suspicious activity, after a rash of vacant home burglaries during the past month. Thieves were targeting copper pipes in basements. According to O'Fallon Police, Joshua Middleton, 23, O'Fallon, admitted to burglarizing vacant foreclosed homes in O’Fallon and the surrounding area. On Jan. 12, the O’Fallon Police Department received a call from a citizen in the area of the 300 block of Copper Tree Ct., regarding a subject looking in the windows of a vacant home before leaving the area in a truck.
