Jeffery Peters, 24, of O'Fallon, was seriously injured in a crash on Tuesday evening.
An O'Fallon motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a tractor trailer on Tuesday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jeffery Peters, 24, of O'Fallon, was heading west on Highway 370 just one more east of Elm Street at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The crash report says Peters was traveling in lane one and attempted to change to lane No. 3. A second car, a 2007 Western Star Tractor driven by Rickey T. Owens, 59, of Harvel, Ill., was travelling in lane No. 2. As Peters attempted his lane change, the front of his 2007 Suzuki motorcycle struck the towed unit of Owens.
