Police say Jermaine Hill choked his wife and hit her nearly a dozen times before throwing a cell phone at a wall so hard that it embedded in the dry wall. Hill then told police they'd have to come back again when he is released.
A Dardenne Prairie man is accused of attacking his wife Saturday at their home. Jermaine Hill, 36, of the 7300 block of Pierside Drive in Dardenne Prairie, was charged Monday with third-degree domestic assault. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said Hill grabbed his wife by the neck, threw her into a wall and then down onto their bedroom floor between 1:25 p.m. and 1:47 p.m. on April 28. According to the report, Hill then choked the woman and hit her about 10 times in the face, arms and side. Police said he threw her cell phone hard enough to embed it into the drywall. A St. Charles County Sheriff's deputy said Mathew Charleville kicked him and tried to bite a second deputy while he was handcuffed in a patrol car.
A St. Charles County man is accused of kicking and trying to bite Sheriff’s deputies who arrested him on an outstanding warrant. Mathew Charleville, 25, of the 100 block of Pinto Circle near Dardenne Prairie, was charged April 4 with two counts of assaulting a law enforcement officer. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said he had arrested Charleville on a warrant for a probation violation, handcuffed him and put in the back of the patrol vehicle. The deputy said that as he talked to another person, Charleville began banging his head on the Plexiglass partition inside the patrol car. Dwight Barmore, of O'Fallon, was indicted Friday on charges of sexual misconduct, child pornography and use of a child in a sexual performance.
An O’Fallon man, who is accused of enticing a young girl to take and send him nude photos of herself, was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury on several charges Friday. Dwight Barmore Sr., 57, was indicted on charges of sexual misconduct involving a child under age 15, possession of child pornography and use of a child in a sexual performance. St. Charles County Sheriff's detectives said Barmore asked the girl to take and send him the photos. They reported Barmore also shared them with a co-worker. Barmore’s last known address was listed as being in the 2100 block of Martin Drive in O’Fallon. Barmore is being held in St. Charles County jail. Bail was set at $35,000, cash only. A St. Charles County Sheriff's Deputy said the Randy K. Voerg Jr and the boy argued and Voerg hit the youth in the eye.
A 17-year-old St. Charles County man is accused of punching a 13-year-old boy in the eye on March 8. Randy K. Voerg Jr., 17, was charged March 11 with third-degree assault. His address was listed as being in the first block of Barberry Lane in St. Charles County near O’Fallon. A St. Charles County Sheriff's deputy reported that Voerg and the child had a verbal argument in the 100 block of Tee Kay Drive in St. Charles County near O'Fallon. Voerg became enraged, crossed the street and twice punched the 13-year-old in the eye, according to the report. The boy’s eye was swollen and bruised, the deputy said. An O’Fallon woman faces assault charges after being accused of putting a condom in her 5-year-old daughter’s underwear. St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department investigators said the 26-year-old O'Fallon woman told her daughter to hide the condom in her father’s home in Dardenne Prairie. The condom had been made to look as though it was used, according to a probable cause statement. Investigators reported that the mother’s intent was to cause the girl’s father to believe his fiancé was being unfaithful. The mother was charged Feb. 22 with third-degree assault against her daughter. A Defiance man was indicted Friday by a St. Charles County grand jury on drug charges, resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated and multiple other charges. Scott A. Heining 36, of the 2900 block of South Highway 94 in Defiance, faces charges of distributing a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance, resisting arrest, misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, several charges of exceeding the speed limit by more than 26 mph, and several other misdemeanor and traffic charges. The St. Charles County Sheriff's Department arrested a retired police officer for sending pictures of his genitals to an officer posing as an underage girl. Richard L. Hays, 47, of the 6100 block of State Route 162 in Maryville, Ill., was charged Wednesday in St. Charles County with felony sexual misconduct involving a child under 15. Hays told told the Madison County Sheriff's Department during an interview on Tuesday, Dec. 4, that he was a retired police officer from the Pontoon Beach Police Department and has worked for the St. Jacobs Police Department approximately a year ago.
