According to Fox 2, the lifeguard performed CPR on a 9-year-old child on Friday.
An O'Fallon lifeguard rescued a nine-year-old swimmer in the Twin Chimneys subdivision on Friday, according to Fox 2. The station reported the lifeguard performed CPR to save the child swimming in the subdivision pool. For more information, click here.

Make a splash this weekend at O'Fallon's Alligator's Creek Aquatic Center in Civic Park. The outdoor pool opens Saturday, May 26 and will be open for the Memorial Day weekend. Hours: Noon to 6 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday, noon to 7 p.m. Sunday. Open May 26-August 12. Fees and Passes: Adult- $4.50, Youth and Seniors $3.50. Season passes for adult residents are $90 for residents, $115 for nonresidents, $65 for resident children and $90 for nonresident children. O'Fallon raised admission fees by 50 cents at the pool this year. Amenities: A spring diving board, lazy river, vortex, two water slides. Over the weekend, Alligator's Creek Aquatic Center offered fun for owners and their four legged friends.
From trained dock dogs to puppies just having fun, owners and their dogs where treated to an afternoon of fun at the Alligtor's Creek Aquatic Center on Saturday, Sept. 10. Proceeds from the event go to support the Missouri Alliance for Animal Legislation.

Holy heat Batman! O’Fallon has been under an Excessive Heat Warning for days now. The temperatures are hot and the heat index has been anywhere from 100-115. To say that this heat wave is dangerous is an understatement. As parents, we want to have fun with our children during the summer, but their health and safety is most important. Many outdoor activities need to be restricted in heat like this because a child can overheat and dehydrate very quickly. Trying to entertain your children in weather like this can be a real challenge, especially if you are anything like me and find yourself down right crabby because of the heat. I’ve put together a few suggestions on ways to beat the heat and still have fun until fall arrives.

One of the best parts of summer is swimming. On a hot, humid St. Louis summer day, there is nothing better than jumping in pool to cool off and have fun. As a kid, I would spend hours at the pool. I’d play Marco Polo, dive for quarters spend hours just floating on a raft. Even as an adult, I still enjoy going to the pool every chance I get. Especially since most pools offer attractions such as a lazy river and waterslides, going to the pool is even more fun than I remember as a kid. When I take my boys to the pool, we get there as soon as it opens and stay until dinner time. We usually go to the pool at least twice a week all summer long.
