Lanes closed on Blanchette Bridge In St. Charles County, all westbound I-70 lanes on the Blanchette Bridge will close at midnight Friday morning for approximately 30 minutes while crews perform bridge work. I-64 westbound lane closures downtown Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) crews continue to have one lane closed around the clock downtown on westbound Interstate 64 from Broadway to 21st Street with a second lane closed weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the following morning. On Friday, crews will keep the second lane on westbound I-64 closed from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday. In addition, two lanes on eastbound I-64 between Broadway and 21st Street will be closed from midnight until noon Saturday August 18. These lane closures are to continue removal and replacement of the driving surface on the double deck structure. MoDOT reports the St. Louis Regional Work Zones for August 9-15.
Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) crews will close all lanes and ramps on westbound Interstate 64 downtown between the I-44/I-55 ramp on the Poplar Street Bridge and 21st Street on the double deck structure this weekend, starting at 10 a.m. Friday to continue work to remove and replace the driving surface. Up to two eastbound lanes will be closed for safety during this work. All westbound lanes, except for the right lane, will be open by 5:30 a.m. Monday, August 12. Lane shifts and lane closures continue on westbound and eastbound I-44 in between Lewis Road and Antire Road as part of a pavement reconstruction project. The changes on I-44 will remain until fall 2012. Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

Ramps closed downtown this weekend Cardinals fans heading from the city to westbound Interstate 64 this week should remember that several ramps to westbound I-64 will remain closed until early September. The ramps from Broadway, 10th Street and 14th Street will be closed around the clock. Downtown commuters, to include Cardinal fans, will need to use Pine Street, Jefferson Avenue or Market/Compton to get back onto westbound I-64. Westbound I-64 downtown Drivers on westbound Interstate 64 downtown need to be aware of several lane and ramp closures that are scheduled to start as part of the double deck resurfacing project. On Thursday night, crews will close all lanes and ramps on westbound I-64 between Broadway and 21st Street at 8 p.m. The detour is to take westbound I-44 to Jefferson and take northbound Jefferson back to westbound I-64. MoDOT crews will have westbound Interstate 64 closed for portions of this weekend to continue work around the double deck structure downtown. The work should not significantly impact runners and walkers heading to the Race for the Cure downtown. Crews will close all lanes of westbound I-64 from Broadway to 21st Street starting Friday at 10 a.m. They will reopen one lane between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. Saturday to allow Race for the Cure participants to get downtown. Then, the lanes remain closed until 3 a.m. Monday. The detour for the closure is Interstate 44 to Jefferson. Be aware of pothole repair work as you drive.
Maintenance crews continue to patch potholes throughout the region on state roadways as part of the department’s Pothole Patrol. People can call 1-888-ASK-MODOT to report a pothole on any state-owned road or interstate and the department will patch that pothole by the same time the next weekday. Motorists are urged to watch out for MoDOT workers during moving operations. This Sunday, March 11, crews will close all lanes of westbound Route 370 in St. Charles County at Truman.
