Patch is looking for experts who can talk about signing up for the military and offer their advice this week.

Whether you're considering options after high school graduation or looking for a new career path, Patch wants to help find the answers to questions about joining the United States military this week, but we need a little help.  In the latest edition of "Ask the Patch Pro" we need local experts who can answer readers' questions and offer advice about how to prepare, where to sign up, requirements and what each branch has to offer.  If you are a local military recruiter or consider yourself an expert and can answer these questions and more, let us know two ways. One: You can leave a comment on this post with your email address. Two: You can send an email to jordan.lanham@patch.com. We need experts to answer questions on Thursday, Jan. 31.   …

O'Fallon Woman Seeks Volunteers to Help Bake Cookies For Troops

Neighbors are welcome to help make treats for United States military men and women serving overseas.

Editor's note: Mary is no longer seeking help with baking at this time. O'Fallon Patch will update with more information about future opportunities as they become available.  An O'Fallon woman is sending homemade treats to military men and women overseas, but she needs a little help.  Mary Powers is baking cookies and plans to send them to the troops each month. She is looking for other O'Fallon residents who are interested in helping with the baking.

The logic employed above, if it can be flattered to be so named, concludes thusly: US fought WWII and Civil War ruthlessly; US won both wars; US did not fight ruthlessly in other wars; US lost those wars; http://bit.ly/mmJg5c   more ›
