Man Indicted After He Enticed Girl to Send Nude Photos

Dwight Barmore, of O'Fallon, was indicted Friday on charges of sexual misconduct, child pornography and use of a child in a sexual performance.

An O’Fallon man, who is accused of enticing a young girl to take and send him nude photos of herself, was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury on several charges Friday. Dwight Barmore Sr., 57, was indicted on charges of sexual misconduct involving a child under age 15, possession of child pornography and use of a child in a sexual performance. St. Charles County Sheriff's detectives said Barmore asked the girl to take and send him the photos. They reported Barmore also shared them with a co-worker. Barmore’s last known address was listed as being in the 2100 block of Martin Drive in O’Fallon. Barmore is being held in St. Charles County jail. Bail was set at $35,000, cash only. O'Fallon Man Entices 12-Year-Old Girl to Send Him Nude Photos

A St. Charles County Sheriff's detective said Dwight Barmore, of O'Fallon, showed the photos to a coworker Feb. 20.

An O’Fallon man faces criminal charges for enticing a 12-year-old girl to send him nude photos of herself Feb 17. Dwight Barmore, 57, of O’Fallon, was charged Wednesday with sexual misconduct involving a child under age 15, possession of child pornography and use of a child in a sexual performance. St. Charles County Sheriff's detectives said Barmore asked the girl to take and send him the photos. They reported Barmore then shared them with a co-worker on Wednesday. A forensic analysis of his phone indicated the photos were still on his phone, according to a court document. Barmore was taken into custody and admitted receiving and having the photos on his cell phone, police said. Bail for Barmore was set at $35,000, cash only. For more …

O'Fallon Man Sentenced On Federal Child Porn Charges

James Renwick Arnott, 47, O'Fallon, was sentenced to 70 months in prison.

An O'Fallon man is sentenced to 70 months in prison for possession of child pornography between December 2008 and March 2009.  According to the United States Attorney’s Office, James Renwick Arnott, 47, pled guilty to one felony count of possession of child pornography on June 11. He appeared in court Monday for sentencing before United States District Judge Carol E. Jackson.           This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Office.

Superintendent Says Zumwalt West 7th Grade Teacher Didn't Share Student Shower Videos

In June, Matt Hansen, 38, of Lincoln County, was found in possession of child porn on his home computer. According to Superintendent Dr. Bernard DuBray, police say Hansen did not share the videos he took of campers in the shower.

A Fort Zumwalt West Middle School teacher who was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography earlier this month, also allegedly taped students undressing while away at camp.  Matt Hansen, 38, taught seventh grade math in the district since 2004, and was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the police investigation. According to a letter from Fort Zumwalt Superintendent Bernard DuBray posted on the district's website in June, Hansen also assisted with the district's Fifth Grade Outdoor Education Program. "Since his arrest, the Cyber Crimes Unit found evidence that Mr. Hansen secretly and inappropriately videotaped some students at the Outdoor Education Program," DuBray wrote, adding that he had not personally…
