The pharmacy purchased land at the southeast corner of the intersection of Highway K and Highway N, where the On the Run gas station previously stood back in March. This land, which is owned by Arch Energy, is subdivided into two lots because a cell phone tower sits on the property. The Mobil On the Run was torn down to make way for the new drugstore. The Country Club Car Wash, located at 2999 Highway K at the northwest intersection—across from Mobil on the Run's old site—added the gas station's convenience shop to its location. The Country Club Car Wash, located at 2999 Highway K at the northwest intersection, across from the Mobil on the Run's old site—added the gas station's convenience shop to its location. Mobil on the Run stations and Country Club Car Wash locations are under the same ownership, so the only change is the type of convenience store on the inside. Construction began on both projects in early May 2012. While Mobil On the Run was completed this week, CVS Pharmacy is expected to open its doors in O’Fallon by late October.

The O’Fallon Planning and Zoning Commission approved a request for a preliminary plat on March 1.
A new pharmacy is headed to the City of O’Fallon. O’Fallon Director of Public Relations Tom Drabelle said CVS Pharmacy is purchasing land at the southeast corner of the intersection of Highway K and Highway N. The company has proposed tearing down the Mobile On the Run to build the drugstore. Earlier in March, the O’Fallon Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing and approved the request for a preliminary plat for 3002 Highway K. This allows the existing land, which is owned by Arch Energy, to be subdivided into two lots. Drabelle said the land would be divided into two lots because a cell phone tower sits on the property.
