O'Fallon Man Indicted On Seven Counts of Sexual Assault

Seven women report that Lawrence Branam, owner of the Cosmetic Laser Center in St. Peters, touched them sexually during hair removal treatments.

The owner of the Cosmetic Laser Center in St. Peters was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury Friday on seven counts of deviate sexual assault. Lawrence Branan, 48, of the 1400 block of Norwood Hills Drive in O’Fallon, owned the Cosmetic Laser Center at 7030 Mexico Road and was a licensed laser hair removal technician. Branam was arrested June 20 after St. Peters Police received a report that he had inappropriately touched a female client during hair removal treatments. The client told people she had gone in for laser hair removal and Branam had touched her in areas which were not treated as part of the laser hair removal process. Former Foster Parent Indicted on Child Abuse Charges

Police said that Terri Cronin broke a six-week-old baby's arm, and five weeks later fractured the child's skull, causing a brain injury.

A former St. Charles County foster parent was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury Friday on two counts of child abuse. Terri Cronin, 48, was indicted on two counts of child abuse. She alternatively has been indicted on two counts of second-degree assault. Cronin's address now is listed as being in Oklahoma. St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department detectives said Cronin fractured a six-week-old baby’s arm while caring for the child as a foster parent in the 3600 block of Meadowsglen Court in the Harvester area. Cronin told police she slipped while carrying the baby down some stairs. Teen Indicted on Sexual Misconduct, Burglary Charges

O'Fallon Police said the young man groped a woman and a 14-year-old girl through windows as they slept in two separate incidents.

A teen was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury Sept. 14 on two first-degree burglary charges and one count each of first-degree sexual misconduct and attempted deviate sexual assault. O’Fallon Police said Austin L. Mosley, 17, of the 400 block of Fire Tree Lane in St. Charles County near O'Fallon, reached inside windows two separate occasions and groped a woman and a 14-year-old girl. The first incident was May 6; the second was July 27. The woman and the girl were sleeping at the time, police said. According to police reports, Mosley told police he was extremely drunk during both incidents. O'Fallon Man Indicted for Cooking Meth

Man admitted making meth 20 to 30 times in his garage, said St. Charles County Regional Drug Task Force detectives.

An O’Fallon man was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury Friday with making and possessing methamphetamine. A St. Charles County Regional Drug Task Force detective said in a report that a witness said she suspected Shane A. Groenke, 46, of the 500 block of Trudy Lane, was making meth in his garage. Groenke turned himself in for questioning and told police he had made meth in his garage 20 to 30 times for several months through Sept. 15, according to the drug task force report.
