Dwight Barmore, of O'Fallon, was indicted Friday on charges of sexual misconduct, child pornography and use of a child in a sexual performance.
An O’Fallon man, who is accused of enticing a young girl to take and send him nude photos of herself, was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury on several charges Friday. Dwight Barmore Sr., 57, was indicted on charges of sexual misconduct involving a child under age 15, possession of child pornography and use of a child in a sexual performance. St. Charles County Sheriff's detectives said Barmore asked the girl to take and send him the photos. They reported Barmore also shared them with a co-worker. Barmore’s last known address was listed as being in the 2100 block of Martin Drive in O’Fallon. Barmore is being held in St. Charles County jail. Bail was set at $35,000, cash only. An O’Fallon man faces criminal charges for enticing a 12-year-old girl to send him nude photos of herself Feb 17. Dwight Barmore, 57, of O’Fallon, was charged Wednesday with sexual misconduct involving a child under age 15, possession of child pornography and use of a child in a sexual performance. St. Charles County Sheriff's detectives said Barmore asked the girl to take and send him the photos. They reported Barmore then shared them with a co-worker on Wednesday. A forensic analysis of his phone indicated the photos were still on his phone, according to a court document. An O’Fallon woman woke to find a man standing over her bed early Sunday morning. Another person chased the man out of the house, but the intruder lost his shoe. O’Fallon Police said Jacob Lee Roberts, 18, of the 500 block of St. Matthew Avenue in O’Fallon, broke into a neighbor’s home in the 400 block of St. Matthew. The woman said she recognized Roberts as a neighbor who had tapped on her bedroom window earlier and asked her to hang out. Police said he pried a screen off a window with a butter knife, and entered through the window. He stole a radio, police said. Police said Roberts confessed that, as the woman was sleeping, he touched her through her clothing for sexual gratification. Police recovered a shoe in Roberts’ home that matched …

A teen was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury Sept. 14 on two first-degree burglary charges and one count each of first-degree sexual misconduct and attempted deviate sexual assault. O’Fallon Police said Austin L. Mosley, 17, of the 400 block of Fire Tree Lane in St. Charles County near O'Fallon, reached inside windows two separate occasions and groped a woman and a 14-year-old girl. The first incident was May 6; the second was July 27. The woman and the girl were sleeping at the time, police said. According to police reports, Mosley told police he was extremely drunk during both incidents. A teenager was charged Monday with reaching inside windows and groping two females inside homes near O'Fallon. Austin Mosley, 17, of the 400 block of Fire Tree Lane in St. Charles County near O'Fallon, faces two counts of first-degree burglary and two counts of first-degree sexual misconduct. St. Charles County Sheriff's detectives said Mosley stood on a lawn chair, reached inside an open window a home May 6 on Wild Winds Drive and touched a woman as she was sleeping. On Friday, he also reached inside an open window at another home on the same street and touched a 14-year-old juvenile as she was sleeping, according to the report. Mosley told officers that he was extremely drunk during both incidents. Bond was set at $25,000.
