O'Fallon Brewery Planning $8 Million Expansion

The brewery's owner hopes to have the new plant operational in 18 to 24 months.

The St. Louis Business Journal reported last week that O'Fallon Brewery is looking at investing $8 million in an expansion of its beer plant.

The Journal quoted brewery owner Jim Gorczyka as saying that the current facility is unable to meet the growth in demand, and that he hopes to have a new facility up and running in 18 to 24 months.

The company contracts with a Wisconsin brewery for most of its production, but that would change with the expansion, putting all of the company's production in one location.
