O'Fallon Man Injured in Rush-Hour Motorcycle Crash on I-70

The motorcycle struck the back of a Dodge pickup.

Mark A. Strassner, 44, of O'Fallon was driving a 2007 Harley eastbound on I-70 Thursday morning when he struck the back of a truck west of Mid Rivers Mall Drive

The 2007 Dodge Ram, driven by Charles P. Gorman, 24, of Dardenne Prairie, was slowed for traffic at 8:29 a.m. when Strassner found himself unable to stop and crashed into the truck.

Strassner sustained moderate injuries and was transported to St. Joseph Hospital by St. Charles County Ambulance. He was not wearing a safety device.

Gorman was not injured in the crash, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.
