O'Fallon Police Asking For Help Identifying Robbery Suspects

A robbery suspect struggled with a store employee, injuring the employee.

The O'Fallon Police Department is asking for the the public's help in identifying two suspects in a strong-arm robbery yesterday, Sept. 5.

At approximately 11:43 a.m., a female suspect in a store in the 1400 block of Mexico Loop Road East picked up five bottles of alcohol. A male suspect put them in a bag and attempted to walk out without paying.

When an employee confronted the male suspect, a struggle ensued and the employee was injured. 

The male suspect fled on foot. The female suspect got in a white conversion van. 

The police issued the following descriptions:

"The male suspect was described as a white male, 6 feet tall, average build, with close shaved hair. He was wearing a red shirt and light colored pants with black and white tennis shoes. The feale suspect was described as a white female, approximately 5' to 5'2", thick build, and long dark colored hair. She was wearing dark pants and a dark shirt."

The store employee was taken to the hospital for injuries and later released.
